Eight titles leave the service on October 15, headlined by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 after 18 months. Members get 20% off departing games before they're gone.
The full list
Spotted in the Xbox app's “Leaving soon” tab and first reported October 2, all eight departures happen October 15, 2026:
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Console, PC, Cloud) — the headliner, leaving after roughly 18 months on the service since its day-one launch in April 2025. A Plague Tale: Requiem (Console, PC, Cloud). Pacific Drive (Console, PC, Cloud). The Casting of Frank Stone (Console, PC, Cloud). Evil West (Console, PC, Cloud). Crime Scene Cleaner (Console, PC, Cloud). Donut County (Console, PC, Cloud). Nova Roma (PC only, Game Preview).
Clearing up the confusion
Some lists showed a ninth game, Superball — but it's free-to-play, so only its Game Pass member perks end on October 15, not the game itself. And to be clear: the date is October 15, not October 1 as some early reports suggested.
Game Pass members get at least 20% off all departing titles until they're removed, so if you've been meaning to own any of these, now's the window.
KongMNG's take
Clair Obscur leaving stings — that game was widely regarded as one of 2025's best, and 18 months on the service was a good run. But this is the Game Pass cycle: games rotate, and the deal was always “play it while it's here.” If Expedition 33 has been sitting in your backlog, you've got eight days. That's enough if you stop scrolling and start playing.
